Member Spotlight
Our member spotlight for March is Michael Nusbaum. Michael is a retired LDO Lt Commander from the Navy and spent 27 years serving our country. He currently serves as an independent consultant for his firm, Mustang Solutions, which provides a rare breed of business solutions. He is originally from Minnesota and has been married for 40 years. In his leisure time he enjoys golfing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He received his PMP certification one year ago and has been a member of the NEFL PMI chapter for six months. March Meeting Recap
March is designated as Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day was recognized on March 8th. In honor of this, the March Chapter dinner meeting held on March 18th featured an energetic and encouraging presentation about “Women in Leadership” from Melissa Fulmore-Hardwick, MBA, OCP. Melissa is a mother, wife and the VP of IT Enterprise Applications at Acosta. Melissa shared her balancing act of maintaining these multiple roles and her 10 “Melissa-isms” while encouraging women to “Rise Up” in leadership. We celebrate the success of women in the workplace and their contributions to society.

PMO Leadership Council Lunch Meeting
Business leaders, corporate decision makers, and PMO executives from across Northeast Florida are welcome to join our round table discussions. This event is facilitated by Susan Daniels, MBA PMP and Vice President of Corporate Relations, PMI-NEFL.
The Council meets monthly to:
- Discuss common operational pain points,
- Share effective practices, and
- Learn about resources to strengthen their PMO models and teams.

April Chapter Meeting
The April Professional Development dinner meeting will be held on Monday, April 15th at the Aloft Hotel from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. This session will be worth two (2) PDU's in the PMI PDU category of "Leadership". Jim Van Allan, PhD will present “Embracing the Power of Positive Leadership”. Note: Early bird discount ends April 6th and dinner registrations must be made by April 9th.

Quarterly SkillFest Recruiting Event
If you are in the market for a job or looking for an opportunity to network, don’t miss the next Skillfest event on Tuesday, April 23rd at Dave and Busters from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. (7025 Salisbury Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32256) Recruiters will be onsite and attendees will have the opportunity to network throughout the evening. The cost of $35 includes a light buffet and non-alcoholic beverages.
