The topic was how business analysts bring value to project management. Our guest speaker was Laura Paton; MBA, PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, and CSM.
Did you know that 47% of projects fail due to poor requirements? Why is that? Is it because there was not a BA who did the leg work prior to turning the project over to the project manager? A show of hands proved the point that most attendees do not work for a company where there is an active BA role.
