PMI-NEFL 2021 Board Elections (2)

It’s Time for Elections! Voting will close at 11:59 PM on Mar 14, 2022.

The PMI NEFL Chapter Nominating committee is pleased to present the following members for election to the open Vice President positions on the Board of Directors.  Please vote to confirm your support for these members as they volunteer to lead our chapter forward for the 2021-2023 term.

The following officers will remain in office to complete their term (2020-2022):

The nominating committee puts forth the following members for election. These members are all in good standing with PMI and have expressed interest in volunteering and serving the PMI NEFL membership.

  • VP Career Networking - Connie Pirkle
    • Connie has planned, organized, and lead three SkillFest (a virtual job fair) events since July 2019. She has been been leading a team of PMI NEFL chapter volunteers to create an online version of SkillFest in response to the pandemic constraints. Connie would like to continue supporting our members in providing opportunities to network with local employers and recruiters. In addition, Connie has offered an opportunity for members to expand their skills in resume writing, interviewing, and other skills key to supporting their career path interests during SkillFest. Connie has been a Director of Recruiting Events since July 2019. She also served as the President of the Jacksonville Information Systems’ Quality Assurance organization from 2002-2005.

  • VP Education - Cheryl Reynolds
    • Cheryl has been a PMI NEFL Director of Education - PMP Study Group for eight years, supporting future leaders understand project management and guiding them in obtaining project management certification. As the VP of Education, Cheryl would like to expand her reach to enable our members to keep their project management skills current and create opportunities for growth and enablement across project management. Cheryl served as the President of the PMI NEFL Chapter in 2014.

  • VP Membership - Muhib Beekun
    • Muhib would like to continue to offer programs to the expand the current PMI NEFL membership. Muhib would like to offer opportunities for the existing membership to enhance their local project management professional network through the chapter and chapter events. Muhib has been a Director of Membership, supporting the VP of Membership since 2018.

  • VP Strategic Initiatives - Eddie Sumner
    • Eddie would like to expand the outreach of the PMI NEFL Chapter by advancing project management (i.e., CAPM training) in the Northeast Florida high schools through the FL Department of Education CAPE program and in partnership with the Future Leaders in Project Management. Eddie has served on the PMI NEFL Board of Directors for the last three years in the role of VP Marketing. He is also a member of the Leadership Institute Master Class, Class of 2021, where he is continuing to further his growth and experience in the field of project management.
