Julie McLean has been a Toastmaster for five years and has attained the title of Distinguished Toastmasters three times. She has been a leader in District 84 which encompasses all of North and Central Florida teaching people about communication and leadership in order to help them grow. Julie has a core belief that in order to be a good Manager, you need to be a good Leader. To be a good Leader, you need to be a good Communicator. To be a good Communicator, you need to be a good Listener. This core belief lead her to start her own company call Lead to Inspire where she speaks, trains, and coaches individuals on key leadership skills. In addition to Toastmasters, Julie is a member of the John Maxwell Team and is a certified DISC and Leadership trainer, speaker, and coach. John Maxwell states, “A successful person finds the right place for himself.” Julie works with current and future leaders to enhance and develop their skills using tested John Maxwell methods.
