The workshop provides an overview of the models and processes required for managing change in the modern workplace. The focus is on management concepts and practices that will prepare leaders to implement organizational change in a global economy and business landscape. Participants in this workshop will learn to:
Dr. Michael Hilley has been a faculty member at the University of Phoenix for over eight years. He teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate leadership and management courses in the School of Business as well as undergraduate courses in the School of Humanities. He presently serves as the Program Manager for the School of Business at the North Florida Campus in Jacksonville, Florida. He has a diversity of experience in leading organizations that includes the private and public sector. He served as a pastor for 29 years, and as a consultant to a long-running television show for eight years. He has served as a weekly writer for an Atlanta-based newspaper for 15 years. He earned a Masters of Arts in Religion, a Master of Management, and a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership. He is married, has four children and four grandchildren. He is presently working on a non-fiction novel due to be published later in 2016 and a satirical work in 2017.
